About this position
- Lead Generation: Proactively research, identify, and engage potential customers within the banking industry. Utilize various channels, including cold outreach, social media, industry events, and networking to generate high-quality leads.
- Qualification: Conduct thorough and effective lead qualification to ensure alignment with our target customer profile. Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders, understanding their pain points and needs.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their specific business challenges. Effectively communicate the value of our fintech SaaS solution and how it addresses their unique requirements.
- Sales Funnel Management: Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring a smooth handover to the Account Executives for further sales discussions.
- Achieve Targets: Consistently meet and exceed lead generation and conversion targets. Take ownership of individual performance and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and challenges in the fintech and banking industries. Use this knowledge to enhance your approach to lead generation and sales efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record of success in lead generation, sales development, or business development roles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage with prospects effectively.
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a relentless work ethic.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing startup environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales prospecting platforms.
- Previous experience in the fintech or SaaS industry and knowledge of banking software is a plus.
- Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator and other data or intent tools is a plus.
- Ambitious and eager to take on additional responsibilities and challenges for rapid career growth within the company.
